‘Rabbit’ tames Rotterdam’s Tiger

Other winners include 'Beginnings,' 'Who I Am'

Two British shorts and a Dutch pic lifted the Tiger awards in that category at the Intl. Film Festival Rotterdam on Monday.

Chris Shepherd and David Shrigley won for “Who I Am and What I Want,” and Run Wrake won for “Rabbit.” Dutch helmer Roy Villevoye took the other Tiger for “Beginnings.”

Winners were selected from 29 contenders, and each takes home €3,000 ($3,635).

The inaugural Prix UIP Rotterdam for short film went to Joke Liberge’s “Meander” (Belgium). He wins $2,423 and an automatic nomination for a European Film award.
