John Davis has named production exec Derek Dauchy president of production at his Fox-based shingle, replacing longtime chief Wyck Godfrey.
Dauchy was head of development at Revolution Studios, where he oversaw development and production of more than 20 features, including “Anger Management,” “Daddy Day Care,” “XXX,” “Are We There Yet” and the upcoming “Click,” “Wind Chill,” “Are We Done Yet?” and “The Brothers Solomon.”
Before joining Revolution, Dauchy was VP development for Barry Levinson and Paula Weinstein at Baltimore/Spring Creek.
Davis and Dauchy met when Davis produced “Daddy Day Care,” which grossed $104 million. Davis’ upcoming projects include “Eragon” and “Garfield 2” for Fox and “Norbit” for DreamWorks.
Godfrey joined forces earlier in the year with former UTA partner Marty Bowen to form a production shingle based at New Line.
