Paramount Pictures has named Daniel Ferleger executive VP in charge of business and legal affairs.
Ferleger was most recently chief operating officer at Revolution Studios. In his new post he will report to Par prexy Rob Moore, and will oversee Par’s negotiations involving development, production, music, distrib and acquisitions. He will also handle the studio’s day-to-day labor relations and administration.
Moore said of Ferleger, “Dan has a unique and exceptional blend of experience in negotiations, finance and studio operations.”
Before Revolution, Ferleger started his studio career at 20th Century Fox where he held various posts, ultimately rising to senior VP for business affairs. Prior to that, he was an entertainment lawyer at Shea & Gould.
