Odyssey gets a bit ‘Sheepish’

Fox will distrib $45 million CGI pic in North America

London-based sales outfit Odyssey Entertainment has picked up international rights to Starz Animation’s $45 million CGI pic “Sheepish,” which will be distributed by 20th Century Fox in North America.

Voice casting is under way for the movie, scheduled for release in early 2008. Production will take place in Toronto, with directors Daniel St. Pierre and Kevin Johnson working under Starz animation president Janet Healey and chief creative officer Jerry Davis.

Ralph Kamp and Louise Goodsill’s Odyssey handled “Valiant” from Vanguard and the same company’s upcoming projects “Space Chimps” and “Happily N’Ever After.” Starz is also a partner in “Space Chimps.”
