‘Lovesick’ goes Long

Working Title hires scribe for romantic fantasy

Kyle Long has been hired to write Working Title Films’ “Lovesick,” a romantic fantasy set in the publishing world.

Working Title co-chairmen Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are producing along with James Gay-Reese (“Blackball”).

Long recently sold his spec script “Flight Risk” to Disney, with Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot producing. He also sold pilot “The Last Tough Guy” to USA Networks. That project is a starring vehicle for a grappler in the World Wrestling Federation.

Universal-based Working Title, which produced U’s “United 93,” is producing the next George Clooney and Joel and Ethan Coen collaboration, “Burn After Reading,” for Focus Features.
