Garbus taps actioner

'Brooklyn' is set almost entirely in subterranean Gotham

Gotham indie banner Garbus Kroupa Entertainment — which recently wrapped “Save Me,” starring Judith Light, Chad Allen and Robert Gant, as well as the lit adaptation “Dream Boy” — has added actioner “Brooklyn to Manhattan” to its slate.

“Brooklyn” is set almost entirely in subterranean Gotham.

In post, drama “Save Me” follows a young gay man who flees a life of drugs and sex to return home for answers.

“Dream,” based on Jim Grimsley’s novel of the same name, centers on the painful first love between two adolescent boys in the rural South.

Garbus Kroupa — headed by attorney James Garbus and real estate developer Robert Kroupa — are also exec producing the live gospel comedy show “Bobby Jones Comedy All Stars.”
