Fox catches dog’s tale

'Marley' takes tricks to theaters

Fox 2000 has bought movie rights to “Marley & Me,” Philadelphia Inquirer columnist John Grogan’s memoir of life with his yellow Labrador retriever. Story covers Marley’s 13-year life — he died two years ago — and is a collection of anecdotes about the dog wreaking havoc in Grogan’s home. It’s Grogan’s first book.
