Village Roadshow Pictures Entertainment has tapped formed Paramount exec Melissa Mazgedian Anna as senior VP of worldwide distribution and marketing — a newly created post.
In another top hire, Village Roadshow, which is based on the Warners lot, has named Jeffrey Lampert exec VP of worldwide feature production.
Mazgedian Anna will report to Roadshow chair-CEO Bruce Berman, while Lampert will report to prexy of production Dana Goldberg.
Mazgedian Anna will oversee the marketing and distribution of all Roadshow pics, including those currently being co-produced and co-financed with Warner Bros. Pictures, including the upcoming “Happy Feet,” “Unaccompanied Minors,” “Music and Lyrics By” and “The Reaping.”
Mazgedian Anna spent 14 years at Paramount, most recently as senior VP of international motion pictures, working closely with United Intl. Pictures and overseeing all aspects of theatrical marketing and distrib overseas. Titles included “War of the Worlds,” “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie,” “Mean Girls,” “Jackass: The Movie” and “Mission Impossible 2.”
Lampert will oversee the physical production of all Village Roadshow titles, including “Ocean’s Thirteen.”
He joins Roadshow after serving as a co-producer on a number of film and television projects, including the upcoming New Line release “Full of It.” Previously, he spent eight years as a film and TV production exec for Walt Disney.
