Seann William Scott and John C. Reilly are in talks to star in “Quebec,” a dramedy from Dimension Films. Steve Conrad is set to write and direct.
Jessika Borsicvky and Steve Jones will produce the pic, which revolves around two supermarket assistant managers who compete against each other for the job of manager.
Lili Taylor, Jenna Fischer, Fred Armison and Gil Bellows are also negotiating to join the cast.
Scott, who most recently did voice work for “Ice Age: The Meltdown,” stars in the upcoming “Mr. Woodcock” and “Trainwreck: My Life as an Idiot.”
Reilly will next be seen in Robert Altman’s “A Prairie Home Companion.” He’ll also be seen in the upcoming “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.”
Dimension Films declined to comment.
