Patricia Clarkson has been cast in “Lars and the Real Girl,” Sidney Kimmel Entertainment’s offbeat indie being released by MGM. She joins Ryan Gosling and Emily Mortimer. Craig Gillespie is directing from a script by Nancy Oliver.
Filming begins in November.

Clarkson, who starred in Sony’s “All the King’s Men,” is filming “Marriage,” directed by Ira Sachs and starring Pierce Brosnan. This year, she won her second Emmy for her role in HBO’s “Six Feet Under.”
