‘Change’ is in the air at Fox

Studio sets up laffer with Guy Walks Into a Bar

Fox has decided it’s time for a “Change,” buying Ryan Jaffe’s comedy pitch and setting it up with Guy Walks Into a Bar partners Jon Berg and Todd Komarnicki.

Story centers on a selfish man who has spent his life taking advantage of others but is forced to give it all back through a magical twist of fate.

Matt Weinberg will exec produce. Jaffe also recently penned “The Rocker” for Fox and a pilot for Touchstone TV.

Deal for “Change” marks the second teaming of Fox and Guy Walks Into a Bar on a comedy project, following “Starship Dave.” Paramount-based Guy Walks Into a Bar, which produced “Elf” as its maiden project, is also developing corporate comedy “The Retreat” for New Line.
