“Don’t Ask Me to Kiss You Because I Will” (Rodar y Rodar) Directorial debut of hot Barcelona playwright Albert Espinosa, adapting his humor-laced, mentally handicapped-themed stage hit. Eloy Azorin toplines.

“En la Ciudad de Sylvia” (Eddie Saeta/Chateau Rouge) “One of the most dialogue-free films in history,” says director Jose Luis Guerin. Plot: a young man searches for a girl in Strasbourg. Expect Guerin hallmarks like dense allusion, leavening humor, sensuality and irony. With Pilar Lopez de Ayala.

“Fiction” (Messidor) Cesc Gay (“In the City”) leaves urban satire for rural idyll in Pyrenees-set tale of a director facing creative crisis. Good reception at Toronto.

“The Football Match” (Zip/Vaca/Jaleo/TVC/TVG) Factory welders facing the ax battle with downsizing bosses in soccer face-off. Well-crafted TV movie from Juan Calvo.

“The Forgotten” (Zip/Sur/Uto-pic/TVE/TVC/2MM) Driss Deiback docu on Moroccan conscripts forced to fight for France. Valladolid Fest bound.

“Garbo” (Ikiru) Standout high-end docu thriller about the double agent who duped Hitler. Ikiru.

“The Hairy Tooth Fairy” (Filmax/Patagonik) Good buzz, Argentine B.O. and sales, on whimsical toon/live-action pic.

“Honor de Cavalleria” (Anderground/Eddie Saeta/Notro) Sancho and Don Quixote wander across a sun-baked La Mancha; impressive minimalism.

“The Imp”/”Angus & Cheryl” (BRB/Screen 21) BRB bows these 90-second short-formats, B/W “The Imp,” about a bungling hell-raiser, and sex war sketches “Angus & Cheryl,” at Mipcom.

“The Kovak Box” (Castelao) Anticipated thriller from Daniel Monzon, with Timothy Hutton. Sitges out-of-comp player.

“The Moon in the Bottle” (Sogecine/Ikiru/Moon) Ensemble drama.

“Ordinary Boys” (Alea/TVC/Alegria) The Moroccan ‘hood where five March 11 terrorists grew up. Latest from prestigious docu maker Alea TV.

“The Orphanage” (Rodar y Rodar/Estudios Picasso) Supervised by Guillermo del Toro, pic is “a North Spain realist ‘Poltergeist,’ ” says first-timer Juan Antonio Bayona. With Belen Rueda (“The Sea Inside”). Post.

“Perfume: The Story of a Murderer” (Constantin/Castelao/Nouvelle Editions des Films) Tom Tykwer’s adaptation of bestseller, and Filmax’s big minority co-production bet.
