‘Bride,’ ‘Dennis’ reach High Point

High Point Films has snapped up world rights, excluding Benelux, to “Bride Flight” and “Dennis P.” Helmer Ben Sombogaart’s “Bride Flight,” an epic love story from the team that made “Twin Sisters,” is scheduled to start shooting in July. Pic is based on the true story of Dutch women who flew to New Zealand to live with their already settled fiances. Hanneke Niens and Anton Smit are producing for IdtV Film, and pic is penned by “Twin Sisters” scribe Marieke van der Pol.

Currently in post-production and set for a December release, “Dennis P.” follows a diamond thief who swindles millions from his employers. Pic is directed by Pieter Kuijpers (“Godforsaken”).
