Below-the-line move

Silverman will lead Endeavor expansion

Endeavor has hired Paradigm agent Jonathan Silverman to spearhead an expansion into repping cinematographers, production designers, second unit directors, editors, physical producers and costume designers.

Silverman had been at Paradigm since 2001, where he helped form that percentery’s production department and rose to the position of co-head of production, in charge of features.

Though it operates at a lower profile than above-the-line film and television businesses, production representation can be lucrative. Endeavor has never before had a dedicated department.

It was unclear which clients might move with Silverman.

In a statement from Endeavor’s partners, the agency called the expansion “a natural evolution to bring these important artists into the agency.”

Silverman, who was also part of Paradigm’s agent trainee committee, had prior percentery stints at Irv Schechter and Smith-Gosnell-Nicholson. He started in the trainee program at WMA.
