Studio makes a home for 'Himelfarb'
Warner Bros. Pictures has bought spec script “Himelfarb” from tyro feature scribes Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel for Donald De Line’s Warner-based shingle to produce.
Comedy is about an emotionally needy young man who misinterprets the signals on a first date. He follows her to Nebraska and ingratiates himself into every aspect of her life.
Producers are De Line and Andrew Haas, who brought in the project.
Paul has written for television but is better known for his acting. His feature credits include “The Shaggy Dog” and “Bewitched,” while he’s had a recurring role on TV skein “Monk,” among other television credits.
De Line Prods. is co-producing “Fool’s Gold,” starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, for Warners, as well as “The Jetsons,” which he is producing with Denise Di Novi.
