Steckler, Greenfield hired as senior VPs

Fox Searchlight has expanded its production team, hiring Jeremy Steckler and Matthew Greenfield as senior VPs.

Both will report to production prexy Claudia Lewis.

The duo were brought aboard to fill the gap left by Lawrence Grey and Jeffrey Arkus, former Searchlight execs who segued to the newly launched Fox Atomic as VP of production and director of production, respectively.

Steckler joins Searchlight from di Bonaventura Pictures, while Greenfield has been an independent producer.

Since Steckler joined di Bonaventura in 2002, he was an exec producer on “Doom” and an associate producer on “Derailed.” Greenfield’s credits as a producer include “The Good Girl” and “Star Maps,” which were distribbed by Searchlight, as well as “Chuck & Buck” and “The Motel.”
