Focus director of publicity named int'l marketing veep
Paramount’s specialty division has named Focus Features director of publicity Dee Poku as VP, international marketing.
Poku will help to coordinate all aspects of international marketing campaigns and report to division president John Lesher.
She handled the international publicity campaigns for “Lost in Translation,” “21 Grams,” “Brokeback Mountain,” “The Constant Gardener” and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.”
Poku previously headed international marketing and publicity at Momentum Pictures in the U.K., handling campaigns for “Amelie,” “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” and “Bowling for Columbine.” She began her career in consumer promotions and publicity.
