IFC in ‘Holding’ pattern

Cuesta's 'Twelve' slated for summer release

IFC Films has picked up U.S. distrib rights to helmer Michael Cuesta’s second feature, “Twelve and Holding,” and is eyeing a summer release.

Pic, penned by television scribe Anthony Cipriano, returns Cuesta (“L.I.E.”) to the theme of teenage suburban angst in telling the story of a twin who seeks revenge on neighborhood bullies for the death of his brother.

Pic is the third produced by Serenade Films, which offers directors reduced fees in exchange for full creative control and adjusted gross participation.
