Meyer, Horn feted by praisers

WB heads honored with Showmanship Award

Hollywood publicists will honor Warner Bros. toppers Barry Meyer and Alan Horn with the Motion Picture Showmanship Award.

Kudo will be presented at the Intl. Cinematographers Guild’s 43rd annual Publicists Awards March 1 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Meyer and Horn assumed their respective posts as chairman-CEO and president-chief operating officer in 1999.

Warner Bros. finished 2005 in first place in market share domestically and internationally, topping the billion-dollar mark in each for the fifth consecutive year.

Fox toppers Jim Gianopulos and Tom Rothman shared the 2005 award.
