L.A. crix set kudos date

32nd annual film achievement awards to be held Jan. 14

The Los Angeles Film Critics Assn. will hold its 32nd annual film achievement awards ceremony on Jan. 14.

Announcement was made by org prexy Henry Sheehan.

Critics will convene in December to vote on this year’s winners, with the results to be announced the same day. Date of that meeting will be announced at a later time. Awards will be presented one month later at the ceremony.

The LACFA awards are among the first of the kudos season.

In October, the critics org will announce the winner of its annual career achievement award, which pays tribute to distinguished industry veterans, as well as its annual new generation award, which spotlights emerging talent.
