Montreal festival taps into MySpace
The Just For Laughs (Montreal International Comedy Festival) highly guarded lineups for the New Faces and Masters shows will be available on MySpace July 17.
“We recognize the significance of tapping into this medium when it comes to discovering talent and reaching our target audience,” said Jodi Lieberman, director of programming.
The festival will have its own online profile and MySpace is now the official sponsor for both shows. The New Faces show is on July 20 and 22 and Masters on July 21.
MySpace will have coverage of the festival with blogs and behind-the-scenes footage.
