LaCorte tops Fox internet

Former L.A. bureau chief takes top post

Fox News topper Roger Ailes shook up the news channel’s Internet division on Wednesday, naming former L.A. bureau chief Ken LaCorte to the top post at Foxnews.com.

LaCorte replaces Bert Solivan, who will remain general manager but will report to LaCorte, who will head all editorial and design functions of the site.

LaCorte will report to John Moody, senior VP of news for the network

While Fox News Channel is the ratings leader in cable news, Foxnews.com barely registers among the top news Internet portals, a situation Ailes wants to change.

LaCorte, Ailies said, “is the ideal executive to grow Foxnews.com to the next level.”
