SINGAPORE — Government-backed promo org the Media Development Authority is continuing its three-year push to transform Singapore into a global media city by launching a business development imitative, Singapore Media Fusion.Web site singaporemediafusion.com will cultivate an online community of local and international media bizzers, whether they are seeking content, co-production partners or specialized media services. Singapore’s push to attract biz has notched co-productions including “House of Harmony,” with ZDF in Germany; “Secrets of Battleship Yamato,” a U.S.-Japan-Singapore TV documentary; and China-Singapore triad pic “One Last Dance,” helmed by Max Makowski and slated for release at year’s end. This year, animation house Scrawl Studios sold 2-D animated TV series “Nanoboy” to Thailand and South Korea, while 3-D animated series “Katakune,” a Singapore-China co-production, has pre-sold to China’s CCTV.
