Ford to drive Content digital strategy

Primary task will be to manage deal with Heavy Worldwide

LONDON — ContentFilm has launched a new digital media division and hired Jonathan Ford as VP, digital distribution. Ford was previously director, digital initiatives, Europe for Sony Pictures TV Intl.

His primary task will be to manage Content’s distribution deal with Heavy Worldwide, the U.S.-based multimedia entertainment provider. He will also develop the company’s digital strategy in relation to its existing library of film and TV rights.
