Emmy honors engineering

Prizes handed out during Primetime Creative Arts ceremony

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced Vid-Wave Boxx (BOXX Communications) and Quad-Split (Harry D. Flagle) as recipients of the 2006 Primetime Emmy Engineering Awards.

The two Engineering Plaques are given for achievements in a high level of engineering and are important to the progress of the industry.

Recipients will receive their awards during the Primetime Creative Arts ceremony on Aug. 19 at the Shrine Auditorium.
