News Corp. is continuing to integrate its new online properties, naming former IGN topper Mark Jung and former Scout.com CEO Jim Heckman to new roles at Fox Interactive Media.
Jung, who co-founded gaming network IGN, will become COO, focused on day-to-day operations of Fox Interactive properties. Heckman has been named Chief Strategy Officer, and will concentrate on big-picture for the division.
Execs will report to Fox Interactive prexy Ross Levinsohn.
News Corp. bought Scout and IGN last year, around the same time as company made a larger buy for MySpace.com.
