BT inks deal with D’Works

Duo pact to supply pix to BT Vision

LONDON — British telco BT has inked a video-on-demand pact with DreamWorks to supply pics for its TV-via-broadband service BT Vision.

Pact includes all DreamWorks output, including recent pics such as “Munich” and “Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit,” in the pay-per-view window.

Through BT’s existing deal with Paramount, an extensive range of older and classic movies will also be offered to viewers.

BT Vision, set to launch in the fall, will offer movies, music and television programming on-demand as well as all the channels offered by digital terres-trial service Freeview, which includes all free-to-air channels broadcast by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five.
