Michael McGahey has joined film, television and commercial animation house Klasky Csupo as senior VP of feature film development.
McGahey was most recently a VP at Deep River Prods., where he worked on films including “The Honeymooners” and “Laws of Attraction,” as well as the upcoming “Big Momma’s House 2.” He was previously director of development for David T. Friendly’s Friendly Prods.
Klasky co-founders Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo said McGahey has an excellent sense of the commercial market.
At Klasky, he will work with senior VP of development Daniel Paul, senior VP of children’s development Alexandra Book and Brandon Scott, who has been upped to VP of creative affairs.
Animation company, whose feature credits include “The Wild Thornberrys” and the “Rugrats” movies, is working on several projects for Paramount, including kidpic “Green Monkeys.”
