Home entertainment unit appoints new biz veep

Marsha King has been appointed executive vice president of business affairs for Paramount Worldwide Home Entertainment. King will be responsible for managing business and legal affairs for all areas of Paramount home entertainment, including marketing, distribution, licensing and acquisitions.

Steve Bertram, president of business operations for Paramount Worldwide Home Entertainment, made the announcement.

King previously was exec VP and general manager for Warner Home Video. During her 16-year stint there, she oversaw many major transactions, including the global distribution of the MGM library in the 1990s.
