When CBS won a settlement from Howard Stern last week, it got some payback for the shock jock’s use of its airwaves to promote Sirius Satellite Radio.
But the real winner in the Stern-to-Sirius drama has got to be Stern’s lawyer, Peter Parcher.
Parcher represents not only Stern but his East Coast replacement, David Lee Roth, who was unceremoniously dumped in April amid a ratings freefall.
Which means Parcher and CBS counsel Irving Nathan are going to be seeing a lot more of each other.
Roth is reported to be seeking full payment on his $4 million contract.
