Dr. Elliot Reid on 'Scrubs'
(Dr. Elliot Reid)
What was your favorite episode of the show?
” ‘My Old Lady.’ This episode was based on the premise that one of every three patients will die, and you don’t know whether it will be Turk, Elliot or J.D.’s patient.”
What has been the best off-camera moment?
“The week the 100th episode was shot, the catering went above and beyond. It was sort of like a week of trucks. It was at least two, sometimes three a day. There was a Philly cheesesteak truck, a falafel truck … It was like complete hedonism at ‘Scrubs.’ ”
How has the show changed your life?
“Before getting ‘Scrubs,’ I had always threatened myself I’d have to become a dental hygienist if I quit acting — to me, that would be the hardest job. I would tell myself, ‘Just stick it out for a little longer.’ It definitely was a turning point.”
