Limbaugh settles charges in Florida

Deal of the week

Confessed drug addict Rush Limbaugh scored the deal of his career, settling a criminal charge in Florida that he had illegally obtained prescription pills.

A charge against the radio host (who pleaded not guilty) will be dropped in 18 months as long as he pays $30,000 and completes treatment for his pill infatuation.

Limbaugh will also be subject to frequent drug tests and won’t be able to own a gun — perhaps inadvertently making him a little bit more of a “compassionate conservative.”
