Pact covers 40 of skein's employees

The Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees has organized the pilot and projected series of ABC’s primetime gameshow “Set for Life,” hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and produced by Endemol USA.

IATSE announced the pact, which covers 40 employees, on Monday and said the agreement reflects its ongoing commitment to cover reality and game shows.

“Set for Life,” using Lock and Key Prods. as the producing entity, began shooting in late August in Los Angeles with IATSE objecting to several company demands. IATSE set up a picket line Aug. 28, leading to negotiations and a memorandum agreement later that day.

Terms include wages, benefits and working conditions under the 2006 Videotape Electronics Supplemental Agreement with benefits retroactive to each employee’s date of hire.
