Spanish-language broadcaster Univision’s first quarter profit jumped 21% to $54 million on robust ad sales.
Revenue grew 4% to $450 million, said the Los Angeles company, which is in the process of selling itself.
Bids are said to be due mid-month.
Revenue from Univision’s three networks — Univision, Galavision and Telefutura — was $323 million, up from $294 million a year earlier.
Univision TV joined the Nielsens in late December.
