Sean Connery’s price on James Bond pix beyond the two for which he’s contracted — one million bucks, sez the thesp, working on a seven-day-per-week sked to wind “Goldfinger.” (Today, Connery, 75, is enjoying life in the Bahamas where he has lived for the past 30 years. Although represented by CAA, he’s not looking for work — but he did voice James Bond for the videogame based on “From Russia With Love.” Another of my favorite James Bond’ers, Roger Moore, segues from homes in Monte Carlo to ski in Switzerland when he’s now globe-circling as international ambassador for UNICEF). … Kim Novak is mulling the “Moll Flanders” script on the set of Billy Wilder’s “Kiss Me Stupid,” from which she should be sprung July 1 to make the Berlin Film Fest date … Wonder how Wilder feels about Peter Sellers’ London statements re no more filming in Hollywood. Wilder plans to co-star Sellers and Peter O’Toole in “Sherlock Holmes” filming in good olde Hollywood well as Venice (Italy) … Columbia, certain that Sellers was anxious to do “Oliver,” now hears he is also undecided about same. Meanwhile, film rights to “Oliver” are subject to litigation now pending in London, the Gower gang confirms. (“Oliver!,” sans Sellers, won six Oscars in 1968).
