Sundance net picks up docs

'Home,' 'Bruce' 'Jesus' among titles in deal

Sundance Channel has acquired pay TV rights to six docs from Montreal-based docu-sales company Films Transit, including liberal favorite “The Corporation,” to air on the channel in late 2005, or early 2006.

Other films picked up include: “Another Road Home,” helmer Danae Elon’s film about her reunion with her Palestinian caretaker; “Bruce and Me,” about helmer Oren Seidler’s relationship with her conman father; “Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus,” an exploration of the American South; “The Last Victory,” following residents of Sienna, Italy, as they prepare for an annual horse race; and “Original Child Bomb,” about the after-effects of nuclear weapons.
