‘Stella’ crew joining IATSE

Agreement retroactive from the date of hire

HOLLYWOOD — The Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and its New York City production locals have unionized the crew of Comedy Central’s “Stella” and reached a contract agreement with FRB Prods.

IATSE said negotiations began after a majority of the crew signed authorization cards. Agreement covers wages, health and pension benefits, hours and working conditions, retroactive from the date of hire.

IATSE veep and director of motion picture and television production Matt Loeb and international representative Dan Mahoney spearheaded the organizing drive with reps of IATSE Locals 52, 161, 600,700, 764, 798 and USA 829.
