Feevee platform Foxtel has pacted with Walt Disney Television to launch the Playhouse Disney Channel Down Under.
Channel is aimed at kids ages 2 to 5 and will provide 24-hour learning-based skeins.
Channel, which will launch in December to coincide with Foxtel’s 10th anniversary celebrations, kicks off with Disney’s “Little Einsteins” and will also feature popular tyke fare including “Bob the Builder” and “The Wiggles.”
The Playhouse Disney brand launched on the Disney Channel Australia sked as a learning-based programming block.
Oz is the 10th market in the Asia-Pacific region to launch the preschool channel, which is also available in Blighty, Spain, Italy and France.
