Mehta gets ‘Loud’

Canadian Deepa Mehta (“Bollywood Hollywood”) will helm “For Crying Out Loud,” from Toronto-based Filmblanc.

One-hour doc profiles four women, three immigrants and one Canadian, who are victims of domestic violence.

Principal photography begins Wednesday.

Pic is skedded to debut in the fall on Omni TV, a terrestrial multicultural channel owned by Rogers Media, the broadcast division of cabler Rogers Communications.

Filmblanc is a commercial production house that launched a TV division in 2003 focusing on social issues documentaries.
