‘Jeopardy’ finale scores

Jennings' loss brings in auds

The final episode of “Jeopardy’s” “Ultimate Tournament of Champions” Wednesday night earned a weighted metered-market average rating of 10.3/19 share during primary runs — the skein’s top such rating since Nov. 30, when Ken Jennings’ loss after a string of 74 victories earned a 13.0/22.

Episode, which occurred on the last day of the May sweeps, ended a final match taking place over the course of three episodes in which longtime champion Jennings lost the tourney to Brad Rutter.

Rutter won $2 million, Jennings won $500,000 and third-place contestant Jerome Vered won $250,000 in what distrib King World touted as the biggest single payday in TV gameshow history.
