IFC skein set for new digs

Show will be redubbed 'At the IFC'

Cable net IFC said this week that it will relocate its indie film TV series “At the Angelika” — which has been housed at the Gotham arthouse of the show’s title — to its IFC Center at the refurbished Waverly Theater in Greenwich Village.

Show will be redubbed “At the IFC.” Alison Bailes hosts the behind-the-scenes roundup of current indie films. It airs first and second Monday of every month at 8 p.m. ET.

Skedded to open this spring, IFC Center is a state-of-the-art cinema and industry facility that will house three screens with high-definition capabilities, as well as a bar, restaurant and digital editing suites for filmmakers.

IFC Entertainment prexy Jonathan Sehring dreamed up the concept to extend the IFC brand in Gotham.

Channel said it will also shortly announce other shows to shoot at the center site.

IFC Center is being managed by John Vanco, co-founder of former indie distrib Cowboy Pictures.
