EM.TV, ZDF kid anew

License dealer EM.TV and pubcaster ZDF have extended their cooperation in children’s programming until 2011.

Pact, originally begun in 2000, now covers 625 half-hours of programs. EM.TV did not reveal the financials but said they were in the lower-double-digit million range.

Deal includes classics such as “Pippi Longstocking” and films such as “Ronia the Robber’s Daughter” and “The Brothers Lionheart.”
