'Conviction' examines what drives murderers
BBC America has acquired dramas “The Queen’s Sister,” “Conviction” and “Murder Prevention” to air next year.
Preeming in January, “Conviction,” a BBC3 six-episode, one-hour drama about the police force, examines what drives people to commit murder. Later in the spring, net will air six- episode, one-hour crime drama “Murder Prevention,” from the U.K.’s Channel Five. Skein follows the work of the unit set up to reduce brutal crime by solving crimes before they have happened.
Also slated for a spring debut is “The Queen’s Sister,” a feature-length single drama biopic from Channel 4, about the life of Queen Elizabeth’s sister, Princess Margaret.
BBC America is distributed by Discovery Networks. It is available on digital cable and satellite TV.
