Net requests 13 new episodes

LONDON — U.K. independent production house RDF, which recently floated on London’s alternative investment market, has been commissioned by U.S. network ABC to make another 13 episodes of reality skein “Wife Swap.”

Deal is worth in excess of $10 million. The second U.S. season of “Wife Swap” will air this fall.

RDF has also signed new contracts for returning series of “Holiday Showdown” and “Shipwrecked” for British webs ITV1 and Channel 4, respectively.

“Since the IPO the business is going from strength to strength,” said RDF chief exec David Frank. “In the last two weeks, we have signed recommissions for three very significant pieces of business.”

RDF made its stock market debut on May 4, following the successful flotation of another British indie, Shed Prods.
