Crashers who crashed the “Wedding Crashers” afterparty at Gotham’s swank Cipriani might’ve thought they walked into a co-ed bachelor party: Femmes wielded garters (given as swag), and everyone was doing shots off a huge, ice-luge sculpture.
Overall, however, it was an upscale affair, with New Line honchos Michael Lynne and Bob Shaye huddling with the film’s director, David Dobkin, while film’s Christopher Walken sneaked out early. Stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson held court in a side room, eschewing press after a long day but graciously greeting well-wishers like Chris Tucker, Sacha Baron Cohen (aka Ali G.) and Jason Bateman.
Like a blushing bride on the big day, the women of “Crashers” looked divine: Rachel McAdams in an elegant, royal blue dress and the still-fabulous Jane Seymour — who bares her chest for the role of a randy wife — in a pink chiffon gown with a slit up to there. “The hardest part (of the nudity) was coming to terms with the fact that Owen Wilson really had to touch me,” Seymour said.
