No festgoers were hurt at New Line Cinema’s cocktail party in honor of competition entry “A History of Violence.”

Innocent bystanders included director David Cronenberg, stars Viggo Mortensen and William Hurt, Time Warner chairman Jeff Bewkes, New Line execs Michael Lynne, Toby Emmerich and Kent Alterman and ICM topper Jeff Berg.

Fete was held Monday night at the Majestic Beach prior to the pic’s late-night screening, which received a five-minute standing ovation.
