SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Lifetime’s Carole Black was not only feted at NATPE this week but also on Jan. 26 in Scottsdale, Ariz., by the Childhelp USA organization. “I don’t deserve this, but I thank you,” Black said as she received the 2005 Woman of the World Award from Merv Griffin. Kudo was in conjunction with the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction. The Drive the Dream Gala raised approximately $2 million for the treatment and prevention of child abuse.
