Chuck Layne


Actor Charles “Chuck” Layne died April 14 in Los Angeles of complications from HIV/AIDS. He was 41.

Born in Lynchburg, Vir., he attended the College of William & Mary and then studied acting. He appeared features including “Starsky and Hutch,” “Spiderman II” and “Anger Management.”

On television, he appeared in shows including “The West Wing,” “Judging Amy,” “Will & Grace” and “Just Shoot Me.”

He is survived by his mother, a brother and two sisters.
