Fourteen-year-old Carly Schroeder (“Mean Creek”) has signed on to Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow’s “The Wrong Element.”

She will play Harrison Ford’s daughter in director Richard Loncraine’s kidnapping thriller, also starring Virginia Madsen and Paul Bettany.

Lensing is skedded to begin Feb. 21 in Vancouver.

Schroeder also starred in Buena Vista’s “The Lizzie McGuire Movie.”
