'Love,' 'Eve,' 'Cuts' bust a move

UPN has reshuffled its Thursday lineup — just days before the launch of the night’s highly anticipated newcomer “Everybody Hates Chris.”

“Chris” — quite possibly the best-reviewed sitcom in the netlet’s history — remains put at 8 p.m. But beyond that, fellow frosh “Love, Inc.” will now air at 8:30 p.m.

That bumps the time period’s previous inhabitant, rapper Eve’s self-titled comedy “Eve,” to 9 p.m. And that pushes “Cuts” — the “One on One” spinoff that bowed last spring” — to 9:30 p.m., where “Love, Inc.” was originally slated.

Net execs said they ultimately felt that a “Chris”-“Love”-“Eve”-“Cuts” lineup made for better flow throughout the night. The change also moves “Eve” — which boasts a big star at its center — into a key tentpole slot. Net was also pleased with early returns from “Love, Inc.” and decided to reward the show with a strong “Chris” lead-in.
